We&#8217;re working closely with the guys at Armor Games on the purchase process, while I&#8217;m also trying to get the game to load-save both locally and on the server. The tutorial panels are finally done.<\/p>\n<p>Why one more week and not just a few more days: Becase if the game is released on Friday and there&#8217;s a critical error to fix (like saved games not working &#8211; ugh&#8230;), there will be noone in the AG office to upload the patch I make. If we release the next Monday, there will be the whole week ahead to upload hotfixes for the first days&#8217; errors.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s still left to do:<br \/>\n-finishing the load-save-purchase system (today and maybe tomorrow)<br \/>\n-new sounds (no, it&#8217;s not the reason for the delay)<br \/>\n-playtesting (well that&#8217;s a reason, and no, there won&#8217;t be a beta period)<br \/>\n-scripted events\/animations on epic stages<br \/>\n-writing the strategy guide (ok, it&#8217;s a mini task)<\/p>\n<p>GemCraft for iPhone is also on its way, I will write more about it once GCL is out.<\/p>\n<p>So, 12 more nights to sleep (or play Dead Space 2) before the big day. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Everyone, We&#8217;re very close to the release, but need one extra week to make all the final touches.
