Fellow Wizards,
The time has come. The GemCraft Legacy Collection is now out on Steam! If you played the old GemCraft chapters back then, I hope it will bring back some good old memories, exploring and discovering again, and if you only ever played GC Chasing Shadows or Frostborn Wrath, you can see how the series started back in the golden era of Flash games. And if you are totally new to the GC series, now is the best time to give it a try, as the entire series is on sale to celebrate not only the release, but that the whole series can live on and be playable on Steam.
I’d like to say a huge thanks to you, the players, who kept us alive with your support by purchasing GCCS and GCFW, and with your heartwarming and many times touching feedback, it’s an awesome feeling to see and hear how much these games have meant to many of you.
And, I’d like to say another huge thanks to Armor Games, the team behind making the GC Legacy Collection possible. They approached me more than once about doing a revive of the old games, I was reluctant at first as I had some vague future plans to remake them myself someday, but eventually I had to admit that I would never have the time and energy to take on such a project alone. So, we agreed, and the fellows at Armor Games did an amazing job, with pure enthusiasm and dedication to this project. This release is not a mere “plug the old games into Steam” quickpatch, but a true revival with lots of improvements.
Let’s dive in and face the hordes of monsters, I hope you’ll have a great time playing!
