First screenshot of the next game

Hey Everyone,

And yet another year passed. This time though, I can finally show a screenshot of the game I’m working on as a detour from the GemCraft series, and as an experimental and study project getting comfortable with the Godot engine. It will be a culinary incremental game about gathering ingredients, collecting recipes to have those ingredients made into dishes during the outcome panel after each run, getting rewarded with coins, buying various upgrades, and getting better each cycle to eventually conquer the upgrade tree.

It’s still early in development, but the scope of the game is not that huge and the Godot engine is developer friendly, versatile and powerful, so I have high hopes for both a release next year, and for paving the way for the possibly final GemCraft chapter.
