Happy spring holidays Everyone!
First of all, sorry for not posting anything for so long! The development of GC2:CS is rolling at full speed, and while the release date is still many months away, the game is almost screenshot-ready for the series of blogposts I mentioned earlier. Many things have changed since the last post in December, the game’s plans were revised and rethought over and over again, the screenshot I released back then is entirely obsolete by now.
Also, thank you for keeping sharing your thoughts and wishes about GC2! The – I admit, overly extended – planning phase is almost over by now (no more major changes unless really necessary), so I’ll rather collect and new ideas and requests for future GC chapters.
So how I plan the series of posts:
-first post will arrive on the 30th of this month (3 weeks from now).
-there will be a new post every second Monday, up to the release date (which will be ideally a Monday too, to avoid hitting the weekend with the game having some critical first days’ errors)
-each post will have several screenshots
-the last post before release will have a teaser trailer video (similar to that of GCL)
-at the end of each post, I will give you the topics of the next 2 posts (2 weeks/4 weeks in advance), like this:
30th of April:
Updated & flippable battle frame, double density battlefield grid, buildable buildings
14th of May:
gem types, firing modes, combining/cloning/upgrading/salvaging gems
In the mean time, if you get stuck in any of the previous chapters, or would like to participate in building a knowledge base, you can check out the ever growing GemCraft Wiki.
Please stay tuned just a little longer for the start of the flow of info about GC2:CS!
